At the early stages of the development of the romantic relationships, the future of the couple was determined by the material prosperity of the parents, the status in society, lands, and the class of the family. For example, nowadays seeking the beloved person, the individual assesses the model of the phone, car, or the brand of the clothes.

  • Wearing makeup is closely connected with the history of dating

Before the 20th century, the vast majority of women did not paint their faces that because the natural look symbolized the pure life of the girl. Only the prostitutes or actresses did that. With the rise of feminism in the 1800s, there was a popular viewpoint according to which a marriage was not more than just a sexual slavery. According to the popular belief, nobody could interfere into the personal position of a person, and moreover, impose the “weird” wedding themes.

Undoubtedly, the theme of love is everlasting. To summarize, it should be said that the dating in the 21st century is pretty much different from the one in the 19th century. However, there is one common feature. Those people who seem physically and mentally attractive to each other express their warm feelings and emotions and want to spend much time together.
